6 keynotes, 52 video talks, 12 panels, and 3 parallel tracks: An impressive line-up including speakers from a wide range of different disciplines, the DIGICROP2020 presents the latest developments and trends in the field of “Digital Technologies for Sustainable Crop Production” from November 1-10, 2020. The three parallel tracks revolve around three distinct, yet interrelated, research areas and foci: TECH, SYSTEM, and PHENO. The keynotes by renowned international scientists are somewhat broader in scope and cross disciplinary borders by integrating several research areas and themes.
In the 12 individual panels, 4-5 speakers present their most interesting work of the last 1-2 years. The topics of the talks cover the entire field of digital crop production: Soil, Root, and Nutrients; Innovation in Agriculture: Emerging Technologies and their Adoption; Robots in Crop Production; Machine Learning for the Field; New Field Arrangements; Economics and Acceptance of Agricultural Technologies; Computer Vision in the Field; Using UAVs for Plant Phenotyping; Sensor-Based Plant Analysis; Modeling; Crop Genetics, Sensing, and Yields. With this comprehensive program, DIGICROP 2020 lives up to its vision of bringing together interdisciplinary research on a key topic of the future and stimulating a dialog among scientists from many different disciplines and from all over the world. The first edition of the conference thus shows its international character: Presenters of institutions from 9 different countries and 3 continents are involved, and the range of nationalities of the speakers is even more diverse.
Registration is now open: Save your spot at www.digicrop.de/registration. The entire event is free of charge for all participants. Talks will be available online from November 1 on. Live Q&A sessions for the talks will happen on November 10 (in the daytime, CET). For more information of the timing of the individual talks, please see the conference program.
