PhenoRob is a DFG-funded Cluster of Excellence in its second phase and is committed to leading the sustainable and technology-driven transformation of crop production through interdisciplinary, cutting-edge research. Our vision is to transform crop production by optimizing breeding and farming management through developing and deploying novel technological solutions for the future of agriculture. In our second funding phase, we are intensifying our integrative approach to develop new innovative cropping systems that simultaneously tackle ecological, economic, and societal needs. Our scientists have backgrounds in robotics, geodesy, computer science, plant phenotyping, soil science, crop science, ecology, and agricultural economics. PhenoRob is driving impactful change toward future-proof agriculture.
